Job Description

Will also be working with International teams.Responsibilities/DutiesYou will be an accountable IT support team leader for Europe, guiding and supporting an Associate IT Engineer, based internationally. You will be responsible for covering all employee IT Support for approx. 200 employees across Europe (UK, Spain, France,Italy, Netherlands, Germany and Norway)

  • Preparing laptops, mobile phones and security access passes for all new starters
  • Maintaining and ordering IT and office equipment, ensuring all equipment is accounted for
  • Providing IT training, and educating employees to improve work efficiency e.g. Office 365, SharePoint, Teams, WebEx, etc
  • Working with wider IT group to deliver creative and innovative internal projects, and
  • initiatives
  • Responsible for day to day performance and operation of hardware and software
  • Provides timely and creative solutions to end-user computer systems
  • Installs, configures, troubleshoots, and repairs Windows desktop and laptop computer
  • systems, peripheral equipment and mobile devices
  • Delivers exceptional customer service, proactively setting expectations with customers and following up appropriately
  • Manages the service request queue and resolves daily hardware and software service and support requests
  • Adheres to established service level agreements
  • Thoroughly documents work performed in the ticketing system
  • Implements approved operating system enhancements and recommends system modifications to reduce user problems
  • Collaborate with wider IT support teams, to resolve more complex problems/issues in a timely manner, escalating where necessary
  • Participates on-call rotation as needed including nights and weekends
Skills and Experience
  • Degree Educated (or equivalent)
  • Proven experience of IT Support
  • Private when dealing with confidential information
  • Confident Communicator
  • Polite and supportive
