Job Description

Job Purpose and Summary Canon EMEA is looking for an enthusiastic Internal Control Associate to support the planning and project management of Internal Control assignments by collecting data and updating tracking tools. youll also be carrying out control testing and design assessmentsand provide consultation onvarious matters such as SOX.The Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) of 2002 is a United States federal law that mandates certain practices in financial record keeping and reporting for corporations.   • As a member of Internal Control team, youll be performing controls testing.
  • Carry out detailed testing in key audit areas, summarising findings as directed by seniors.
  • Engage with various stakeholders across the business representing the team.
  • Update all relevant documentation forcontrol testing purposes in the Internal Control Sharepoint.
  • Provide consultation to various controls and process owners across EMEA.
  • Supporting projects to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the Internal Control function.
What we askPrior experience in either internal or external audit is an advantage.Willing to pursue Professional Qualification, ACCA or ACA (study support provided)You will be highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver assignments on time.Detail oriented and excellent analytical skills.Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.Visio skills are preferred.Prior audit experience (either internal or external) is an advantage.Willingness to learn.You will needExcellent communication skillsApply high standards of accuracyPlan and organise effectivelyTeam playerFurther InformationIn addition to a salary of between £29,750 - £36,075 + study package for ACA/ ACCA youll be eligible for a performance-based bonus of 10%.
