Job Description

Job Purpose and Summary This role is to join our insides sales team at Canon. This dynamic team manages existing customers and generates new business, including handling leads from strategic marketing activity. 70% of your time will be spent account managing and being responsiblefor retaining and managing existing customers, including unlocking their revenue potential.   • Achieve sales targets and business objectives through proactive account management . KEEP, WIN and GROW your customers.
  • Achieve new business sales targets by taking ownership of your time and target approach to WIN new customers for Canon
  • Fully utilise Sales tools provided including Salesforce, PACE, Virtual rooms, Teams and Talkdesk
  • Fully manage your customer base which includes building strategic plans to KEEP and GROW
  • Fully manage your prospect base to nurture them and eventually WIN them.
  • Hold quarterly account reviews with your strategic accounts
  • Accountable for retaining total revenue of the customer year on year
  • Be available for new business customers via our online lead generation activity
  • Be an ambassador for Canon, internally and externally
  • Work with internal Canon colleagues and external third parties to ensure that sales and associated actions are achieve
You will needWe are looking for someone who has the ambition to go further in their sales career, who sees sales as a profession and are hungry to progress, but humble in their approach. We need you to have all the skills someone in a customer facing sales rolesneeds which includes: Youre not afraid to talk to customers and deal with them using digital toolsYoure not afraid to pick up the phone and get on with prospecting for new customersGreat communication skills and the ability to simplify the complex for your customersStrong commercial skillsthe ability to understand business and revenue is criticalA team player who understands the importance of the team and team goalsA self-motivated and driven induvial who can manage themselves to achieve their goalsFast learning and quick thinking who is good with digital tools i.e., CRM, systems etcFurther InformationBase salary up to £24,500 £6500 commission (uncapped).
