Job Description

Job Purpose and Summary Canon EMEA is looking for a Digital Technical Delivery Lead to join the team and support for the effective delivery of our projects.In this role, you will be responsible for making sure projects are effectively resourced and you will manage relationships with a wide range of stakeholders including up to Director level.You will be responsible for managing the work of third party consultants, allocating and utilising resources in an efficient way and maintaining a co-operative, motivated and successful team. Lastly, youll find that Canon enourages continuous Learning and Development with a wide range of resources and support available on demand.What we ask As Digital Technical Delivery Lead you will:

  • Manage and lead the project team, monitor performance of the team and resolve project issues and escalte where necessary.Manage, coach and lead team of direct reports, less experienced colleagues (internal and external) and managing external partners onexcellent solutions and delivery.
  • Lead cross organizational process/IT change programs from concept to successful end-to-end implementation, including stakeholder management and management of external service providers.
  • Act as trusted advisor, cross organizational, on middle and senior management level in all matters of process/IT.
  • Develop and manage the project plan and project related activities including but not limited to, translating and scoping the strategic goals of the project into delivery roadmaps that make sense and are achievable and ensure key milestones and deliverablesare implemented in line with the project plan.
  • Responsible for the operational stability of the domain for which they are responsible and ensure efficiency of team.
You will needAs Digital Technical Delivery Lead you have:- Experience working on Digital projects/programmes in a Technical Project Management role on major Digital Transformation projects at a consultancy, consumer goods companies or for retailers.- Experience of a variety of methodologies including Agile delivery methods.- Excellent communicator both written and verbally and have proven capability of interfacing with senior leadership teams.- Extensive experience in assessment, onboarding, implementation & tuning of leading On-Prem & SaaS/PaaS platforms.- Previous experience in any leading Cloud infrastructure, platforms is desirable.- Ability to work with and provide guidance to cross functional technical and business teams in implementation of large scale end to end digital programs covering the life-cycle of a marketing website ecosystem including PIM, DAM, etc.- The ideal candidate will have understanding of core technologies in the Digital domain such as Content Management, eCommerce platforms, digital marketing, master data management.- Professional experience with all aspects of IT projects, from design through development, testing, implementation, release management and transition to support. The experience should also cover integration and data migration.- Awareness of relevant technologies in the wider industry, and their strengths and weaknesses.- Excellent attention to detail.- Certification in project management methodology such as SAFe, Prince 2 or PMP.Further InformationSalary:£68,434 - £83,456 depending on experience plus 10% performance bonus and excellent benefitsLocation: Stockley Park, UxbridgeThis is a hybrid role with some days spent in the office, some days working remotely.#LI-FC1 Canon is enriching lives and businesses in incredible new ways.
