Data Migration Business Analyst // Financial Services // Home-based + travel // £50,000 + benefitsI am on the lookout for a Data Migration Business Analyst specifically with Life & Pensions experience and strong database design knowledge (SQL), who is happy to travel to client site (UK or International) for 2/3 days of the week, with the rest of the week working remotely from home. There may be occasions where you will need to travel to the office base in Uxbridge from time to time also.Key Responsibilities:Interpret and profile source data and analyse results using statistical techniquesAcquire and analyse data from all data sources to create accurate ETL processesLead design workshops and support client in the review of all design documents Create and circulate for sign-off, all mapping and transformation design documents Support Development team in the design and testing of ETL proceses Support testing of migrated data and provide data and analysis through all testing phasesCreate reconcilation routines to track data as it migrates through the migration life cycle Support clients with the analysis and resolution of defects and idnetify data quality issuesSupport with reporting Actions, Assumptions, Risks, Issues, Decisions, ConstraintsEnsure all Requirements, Design, Interface and Output Documents are delivered on timeSupport the Design Authority on End to End solution ensuring all Data Migration design documents are delivered on time and in line with the overall functional solutionWorking to processes & best practicesKey Skills & Requirements:Essential:Understanding of the Life & Pensions market and experience in closed books migrationsDelivery experience in all phases of the end to end Data Migration life cycle Work alone or as a team player across the wider delivery team Data Mapping delivery Experience in LAMDA, IB,OB environmentFlexibility with regards to travel and working hours Extensive travel required. Able to work to tight deadline and against challenging timescales. Excellent client facing skills. Possess good communication skills both written and oral. Be able to articulate technical concepts to business users. Analytical thinking, problems solving, organisational ability. Demonstrated ability to learn and understand complex software tools and data models.Experience:Stong experience as a business analyst in a life and pensions environmentExperience in similar client facing roles Consultancy experience. Management of multiple small projects simultaneously is also a significant advantage.Educational Requirements:Candidates with one or more of the following qualifications are preferred:Certified Business Analysis Professional (International Institute of Business Analysis)CIIISEB ACII / FPC / AFPC or equivalents Educated to degree LevelAs it stands, all interviews ad onboarding will be remote.If this sounds of interest then please apply with your CV, or send it direct to Data Migration Business Analyst // Financial Services // Home-based + travel // £50,000 + benefitsBy applying to this advert you are giving CPS Group (UK) Ltd authority to hold and process your data for this specific role and any other roles we may deem suitable to you over time.
