Job Purpose and Summary As a Corporate Communications Industrial Placement student (12 months), you will work as part of the Corporate Communications, Marketing& Sustainabilityteam, carrying out a variety of tasks to help implement, monitor and evaluate PR and Social Media activityand to help achieve Marketing, Sales and company objectives. Alongside this, you will alsosupport in providing timely responsesto any media enquiries and manage any product loans requested.You will get the opportunity tohandlededicated projects with niche and specialist media, following abrief andmanaging the process withguidance of the PR and/or SocialMedia Specialists. And youwill get hands on drafinglocalpress releases as wellas supporting with social media editorialcontent calendars; identifying influencers and influencer relations; andsupporting internalcommunications with weekly newsletters and intranet updates.Within theroleyou will be providing support and helping manage UK Press eventsand product launches whileliaising with PR, social media, advertising and other external agencies. You will also have the opportunity to support Canonat events including tradeshows, experiential activity and other campaign/PRbased events.What we askYou must have a good understanding of MS Office including Excel and a good understanding of PR and social media.
