This is an excellent opportunity to join a talented and passionate team working on bleeding edge technical challenges.The roleWe’re looking for bright engineers to join the growing Infrastructure and API team, which is responsible for building data pipelines (processing hundreds of thousands of events per second) and designing and implementing powerful search APIs to access this data. As a key member of the team you will be developing new features, optimising performance and helping scale the platform.This role is an extension of back end development, with a focus on data pipelines and cloud infrastructure. If you’re a Developer currently working closely to (or with a keen interest in) data pipelines, APIs, cloud infrastructure, databases or storage, this role offers the perfect opportunity to expand your skills in these areas. You will be part of an impressive R&D environment where your creative abilities will make a difference to the world of technology.Whilst the majority of the infrastructure is based on Golang, any experience of this would be beneficial but by no means essential. More importantly we’re looking for someone who is willing to expand their knowledge whilst also bringing their own expertise and experience. As an experienced Developer you will help drive the technical direction of the product and mentor Graduate Developers as part of a diverse team.Desirable skills (some or all of the following)Python, Golang, Elasticsearch, SOA, Cloud Architecture, Kafka, PostgreSQL, GRPC, REST APIs or Kubernetes
