Job Description

Location: Denstone College, Uttoxeter, Staffs, ST14 5HNHours: Full Time, 52 weeks per yearSalary: £26,000 per annumDenstone College have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sports Facilities Manager to join our friendly and supportive team. You will join us at an exciting time as we look to develop the role and the department.This is a varied post with responsibility for all of our sports facilities to include the sports hall, astro’s, outdoor tennis and netball courts, swimming pool and our strength and conditioning suites so experience in most or all of these areas would beadvantageous.Beginning life as a school in 1873, Denstone College is a thriving, co-educational boarding and day school, situated close to Uttoxeter. It has its own preparatory school, which has recently moved onto the main campus, providing continuous education on thesame site for pupils aged from 4–18. The school is part of the Woodard Corporation, and the Head is in membership of HMC.The successful candidate must demonstrate:

  • Experience in a leisure facility management role
  • The understanding of a commercial business inside of an education establishment
  • You are an excellent communicator with the ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders
  • The ability to work at pace and manage a diverse and varied portfolio of work
  • The care and attention, particularly for all aspects of Health and Safety
  • Confident use of ICT such as supporting databases
  • High energy, resilient, can do attitude with a proactive approach
