We are looking for a Project Lead to join the Purchasing team as an interface with the Engineering department, at the corporate Head Office in Staffordshire.The successful applicant will not be involved in front end buying, but be responsible for leading the Group Purchasing activity required to support the launch of new vehicles. This is a key role liaising with the engineering team and the procurement function.Coordinating with a team of Purchasing Project Leaders within the UK, the goal is to co-ordinate the development and launch of new components in line with the cost, quality and delivery expectations of the business.This role requires the successful candidate to be self-motivated, process driven and have the ability to work on your own initiative as well as lead a team. You must be able to communicate well at every level of the business, as the role has exposure toline managers and directors from varied departments across the company.The ideal candidate for this role will possess the following Experience & Qualifications:-
