Job Description

PDI / Used Vehicle Prep Technician

  • £22,000 Basic Salary plus overtime available
  • 07.30 am to 17:00pm Monday to Friday
  • Excellent career progression
Own vehicle required due to locationWe are currently seeking to recruit a PDI / Used Vehicle Prep Technician to a our Client based in Uttoxeter.This is a full-time role and no weekend working. You may currently be an experienced Technician with a Main Dealer background and looking to take a step back. You will have previous relevant technical experience have a proven track record of quality & efficiencytaking real pride in the work you do. This is a great opportunity to work for an extremely successful and reputable Company. Key PDI Responsibilities: -
  • Accurately and skilfully undertake the repair and servicing of vehicles.
  • Work with other departments in the Group to facilitate the servicing and repair of vehicles
  • Detect and diagnose any additional faults for further repair
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and complies with Group, manufacturer and industry guidelines
  • Fulfil all tasks to the customers complete satisfaction
  • Ensure new vehicle deliveries are correct, oversee and check vehicles as they are taken from the transporter
  • Ensure vehicle keys are kept in the security key cupboard and that the cupboard is kept locked at all times
  • Safe and careful use of key diagnostic equipment
  • Help Group achieve industry-leading standards of process efficiency
