Job Description

Exciting opportunity for a Payroll Administrator, with a business based in Uttoxeter. This role will pay up to £30,000 DOE.Client DetailsPager Personnel are working with a very well known business going through a period of growth. They have an opening for an experience Payroll Administrator to join their growing Team.DescriptionPayroll Administrator responsibilities include:

  • Ensure accurate and timely payments, delivering all contractual and statutory entitlements
  • Monitor pay authorisation requirements to ensure they are met and adhered to.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of standard payroll procedures and reporting
  • Maintain a working knowledge of PAYE including all RTI requirements
  • Maintain a working knowledge of SMP/SSP/SPP/ShPL
  • Utilise payroll and time and attendance reports to produce accurate payments.
  • Respond in an accurate and timely manner to internal and external payroll queries
  • Maintain accurate practices, records and filing system for audit purposes.
  • Ad-hoc duties as required
ProfileThe candidate will have:
  • Experience within a similar role - Required
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal - Required
  • Ability to work well alone or as part of a team - Required
  • Either studying towards or fully CIPP qualified - Desirable
  • Good working knowledge of MS Excel - Required
  • Excellent interpersonal, time-management and organisational skills - Required
