Job Description

Position: Operations ManagerLocation: Marchington, Uttoxeter (Fully site Based)Role: PermanentSalary: £70,000 - £75,000Macildowie are currently partnered with a well-known exciting brand who are an International business that provide fitness equipment to the general public and several larger organisations throughout the U.K.Our client is looking for a leader who can manage multiple assignments at once and has strong Supply Chain/Operational skills throughout their career including Warehouse, Logistics, Supply chain and Inventory control experience.Responsibilities as Operational Manager:

  • Managing direct reports of a medium/large team.
  • Ensuring Health & Safety is adhered to on a daily basis & ensuring environmental requirements are adhered to and support the continued ISO accreditations across the business.
  • Managing multiple tasks simultaneously and ensuring practical levels of co-ordination of all areas of responsibility.
  • Implement and drive a 5S programme throughout the warehouse.
  • Embedding the importance of communication across the operation to both internal and external customers.
  • To ensure integrity and accuracy of the stock held through process excellence.
  • Drive the review and continuous improvement of SOPs and work instructions.
  • To lead and report on CI programmes within the Operation and perform to and report against relevant KPIs.
  • Ensure customer requirements are met with regards to quality, accuracy and on-time delivery/dispatch.
Additional role Responsibilities:
  • Monthly cost reporting.
  • Annual budgeting. (cost and head-count)
  • Resource planning & Space planning.
  • Training and staff performance.
  • Daily warehouse updates.
  • Assembly statistics.
  • Delivery and installation costs vs revenue.
