Job Description

  • LOCATION: Uttoxeter, Staffordshire

  • SALARY: £40,000 per annum
About the Role: We are recruiting for an Automation Maintenance Engineer for a high-profile global distribution site. You will be working in a supportive team and be part of a global materials handling market leader.Our client offers an array of benefits to include:

The role will include:
  • Monday to Friday rotating pattern to include days and nights and overtime available Saturday AM
  • Corrective maintenance and troubleshooting on 1st level and be responsible for reactive, proactive and preventative maintenance on all automated materials handling equipment (MHE), including conveyors, lifts and cranes
  • You will be attending breakdowns and repairs to support the site, whilst ensuring complete customer satisfaction
  • You will be working with minimum supervision approaching fault finding and resolution in a logical manner
As an experienced Maintenance Engineer, we are looking for:
  • A suitable qualification would be essential (ONC/HNC or Full B-Tech in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering) as would a recognized Engineering Apprenticeship.
  • Be able to work without supervision
  • Basic understanding of PLC equipment
  • Ability to be able to work at height
