Job Description

We are looking for Machine OperativesPay rates from £9.57 up to £11.34 depending on shift patternLocation: ST14 7BTImmediate startNo experience needed/Experience needed (minimum experience level)Shifts availableWK1 07:00 - 14:30 | WK2 14:30 - 22:00 Monday to Friday - Weekly Rotating19:00 - 07:00 - 3 Days in 3 Days offTemp to Perm opportunitiesOWN CAR IS ESSENTIAL FOR THIS ROLEMach Recruitment is recruiting for several Bakery Operatives to work in a large food production and distribution site in UttoxeterThe role:As a Machine Operatives you will be working within a food production environment and your duties will be as followed:

  • Checking production programs to understand what products are running and any possible product changeovers that may happen during the shift.
  • Carry out pre start checks, guards & E-stops, and complete the relevant paperwork.
  • Check magnets and rejection systems are working, and biscuit weight is as it should be, complete and sign appropriate paperwork
  • Check area for health & safety hazards
  • Changing reels of wrapping film of up to approximately 9.4kgs in weight (lifting above shoulder height)
  • Ensure regular communication with the rest of the team.
  • Monitor machine operation, check packets for quality, biscuit position, packet seals and codes.
About you: As a Machine Operatives you will have the following skills and experience:
  • Start immediately and are looking for long term work
  • Previous experience desirable but not essential
  • Previous experience of working in a manufacturing environment desirable but not essential.
  • Able to work up to 7 hours per shift
  • You will be able to travel to ST14 7BT
  • Good numeracy and literacy skills.
  • The ability to work on your own initiative as well as working as part of a team.
