Job Description

3 rd Line Service Desk Technician Uttoxeter (5 days a week on site - Please do not apply if this is not manageable) 50k Overview of the role: Working within the Group IT EUC Team you will play a key part in delivering world class IT customer support and M365 applications to our global employees, dealers and customers. This is both a challenging but exciting role with the opportunity for developmentand career progression.Your responsibilities as a IT Service Desk Technician - 3rd Line:

  • Provide 2nd and 3rd line support for applications in the Microsoft Stack to include Power Platform, M365, SharePoint online and Power Automate.
  • Maintain existing applications and fulfil typical administrative activities
  • Ensuring the operational health of the Power Platform & SharePoint online environment including security, availability, performance, interoperability, and reliability
  • Respond to application questions, bugs, and other problems requiring issue resolution
  • Implement minor changes, bug fixes to Power Platform Apps, Flows and SharePoint sites
  • Identification of bugs and escalation/management of development resource to resolve
  • Provisioning, managing, and assigning security permissions to users and groups
  • Administration of lists, libraries, sites and content
  • Support the Development and implementation of new M365 applications and SharePoint sites
  • Enforce governance standards (e.g. policies, procedures, internal brand guidelines etc.)
  • Develop standard operating procedures, user guides and training for Office 365 applications
  • Support the businesss departments and teams in their adoption of the Office 365 suite of application
  • Assist in the functional and business testing of applications
  • Keep up-to date with the latest technologies and assist in the identification of opportunities to utilise the M365 services
