We are looking for an experienced IT Asset Manager. This is a full time role 39 hours a week on an ongoing temporary basis. Please note this is not a hybrid working role and you have to be able to travel daily to the location. The hourly rate of pay is £17.25ph Overview of the role:We are looking for an experienced IT Asset Manager responsible all IT assets. The successful candidate will have experience in managing hardware and software assets in a global organisation to ensure control, governance, and compliance. You will be confidentin engaging and collaborating with stakeholders globally to create and manage the asset management process.This role is suited to someone who has a keen eye for detail, a passion for technology and is comfortable working to deadlines. The team is extremely collaborative, enthusiastic and are looking for someone who excels at being a team player.Responsibilities Manage IT hardware and software asset portfolio with respect to risk, cost control, governance, compliance, and performance objectives. Develop and maintain company policies and processes. Data analysis across all asset classes ensuring accurate reporting and focused efforts can be implemented where remediation is required. Serve as IT hardware asset management subject matter expert. Manage acquisition, deployment, utilisation, tracking, security, and final disposition of IT assets. Managing the critical hardware assets from cradle to grave. This includes, onboarding new hardware across the business, maintaining asset management database, providing useful MI to management, offboarding hardware no longer in use. Managing support contracts and renewals, this will include creating and reviewing contracts and ensuring the details of the finalised support (and associated contact information) is logged and available for the IT teams to use. Ensuring all assets have vendor support and maintaining a register of any exceptions.
