Role: Logistics Co-ordinatorSalary: £23,000Location: UttoxeterType: PermanentOverview2Fawcett are recruiting for a Logistics Coordinator to join a market leading company within energy and power sector. The logistics coordinator will be based in Uttoxeter on a full time, permanent basis. As the Logistics Coordinator Will Report directly to the Operations Manager, the ideal candidate will have previous experience planning deliveries, organising transport and any other associated Import/ Export administration tasks. They will have a positive"can do" attitude and be flexible enough to adapt to a wide range of duties in a growing business.The Role & Responsibilities of the Logistics Associate* Organisation of all inland and overseas (export / import) transport requirements * Liaison with approved logistics providers for the transport of goods * Establishment and development of commercial relationships with logistics providers * Preparation of dangerous goods documentation * Preparation of country-specific documentation for export * Transport costing allocation * Investigating operational queries and providing resolutions * Organisation of deliveries & collections * Dangerous good compliance checks * Management of goods in and goods out * Operating a forklift at and between two adjacent sites * Loading and unloading lorries, vans and other vehicles * Palletisation, boxing, packaging and labelling in accordance with applicable regulations Requirements of the Logistics Associate * Awareness of the issues surrounding the transport of dangerous goods by land, sea and air * Preferred Import/ Export background * Forklift licence * In-date training and certification for the Transport of Dangerous Goods by Air - Shippers Requirements (IATA) * Appreciation of manual handling * Knowledge of the ISPM15 requirements for palletisationWhat will you get in return* A Competitive Salary * A Positive Working Environment * Working for a Company that values and recognises your skills * Progression Opportunities
