There are plenty of opportunities for career advancement, and the time to join has never been better!The Role:As an Electrically biased Maintenance Engineer or PLC Technician, youll be an integral part of a dynamic team ensuring the seamless operation of plant, equipment, and auxiliary systems during both reactive and proactive maintenance phases.Whats in it for You

Your Key Responsibilities as Maintenance Engineer:
  • Efficiency: Collaborate with your team to maximise plant and equipment efficiency, minimising downtime and keeping the operations running smoothly.
  • Precision Planning: Ensure that planned engineering tasks are not only executed on time but also completed to the highest standard.
  • Quality Matters: Uphold the highest standards of repair and manufacturing practices.
  • Record-Keeping: Keep planned maintenance documents and CMMS in order, contributing to organised and efficient operations.
  • Team Player: Forge strong partnerships with production staff to meet daily targets and create a harmonious work environment.
  • Innovate for Success: Play a pivotal role in cost reduction initiatives, driving efficiency and process improvements that make a real impact.
Skills and Experience:
  • Craftsmanship: Must be apprenticeship trained electrically, with a passion for hands-on electrical work.
  • Qualifications: Hold a qualification in C&G’s, NVQ Level 3, or ideally ONC/HNC level.
  • Details: Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics
  • Tech Wizardry: For those eyeing the PLC role, be prepared to connect laptops, modify programs, and expertly troubleshoot (programming skills from scratch not required).
  • Industry Insider: Previous experience in manufacturing or production is a must; its where your skills will truly shine.
