Founded in 1584 it is, today, one of Britains leading co-educational independent boarding schools.An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered General Nurse (RGN) to join the nursing team at Uppingham School as a Bank Nurse.The Health Centre is integral to the school community and provides a comprehensive range of health services for all pupils and a first aid service for all staff, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, during term time. The school nursing team provide high quality,clinically effective health care, actively promote healthy lifestyles and support the whole school community in maintaining high levels of pastoral care for its pupils. The Health Centre is committed to providing ongoing professional education and developmentin line with NMC (2018) requirements.The Health Centre requires a nurse on duty 24 hours a day, 7 days a week during term time therefore shift patterns may include days, nights and/or weekends with some additional contracted hours during the school closure period.
