Job Description

We have exciting opportunities for customer focused and experienced fitness instructors who can play a key role within the fitness team at our first-class sports centre at Uppingham SchoolThe Fitness Instructor will provide all visitors with a friendly and positive experience, through delivering excellent customer service, and providing support and advice in achieving their fitness goals.Fitness Instructor Responsibilities:

  • Making sure the Fitness Studio is kept safe, clean and tidy at all times for our members and pupils to use in compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • To deliver high levels of service in customer care to our members and pupils.
  • To supervise pupils and members to ensure their safety.
  • To create fitness programs for pupils and members.
  • To deliver Group Exercise Sessions to groups of pupils as and when required.
Fitness Instructor Requirements:If you have a passion for fitness and delivering excellent service to our pupils and members we would be delighted to hear from you.A level 2 fitness qualification is essential.In return we can provide a variety of benefits and the opportunity to work in one of the leading boarding schools in the UK.Contract Type: PermanentHours: The following positions are available:Position 1: 31.04 hours per week working every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, as well as some Fridays and weekends on a 3-week rota.Position 2: 24.91 hours per week working every Tuesday and Wednesday, as well as some Fridays and weekends on a 3-week rota.Salary: £8.91 per hour for those 23 and over
