Uppingham School are looking for a committed, experienced and passionate Deputy Grounds Manager to join our busy, close-knit Grounds Team, specialising in cricket and other sports surfaces.As Deputy Grounds Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining and improving the School grounds, associated sports facilities and pitches, including multiple natural and artificial playing surfaces and helping to lead, develop and mentor a team of groundsemployees to deliver high standards of performance, excellent customer service, and a proactive approach to all elements of work.The successful candidate will be a highly skilled and knowledgeable groundsperson, with extensive experience in cricket surface provision and management and a good knowledge of sporting surfaces, both natural and artificial.
