You will feel confident in monitoring and managing networks and systems, identifyingsecurity threats, analysing, and assessing alerts, and report on potential threats, penetration attempts and false alarms.What do we need from youCandidates should be ambitious and motivated tech enthusiasts who thrive as part of a team and demonstrate exceptional people skills alongside strong written and verbal communication.As a Cyber Security Specialist, you will:

  • Remain informed on the latest security and technology developments
  • Investigate and evaluate emerging cyber threats and identify ways to manage them
  • Develop contingency plans and ensure a disaster recovery strategy is in place in case of any security breaches
  • Continue to review existing protocols and monitor for attacks, intrusions, and unlawful activity
  • Design and develop both new and existing security systems
  • Simulate security breaches by way of Ethical Hacking/Penetration Testing
  • Isolate potential weak points and deploy measures, such as firewalls and encryption
  • Engage with business stakeholders regarding cyber security issues and offer best practice recommendations
  • Monitor and respond to phishing emails and pharming activity
  • Provide support with the development and deployment of cyber security awareness training
  • Provide advice and support to staff on issues such as spam and unwanted or malicious emails
