The role and responsibilities of a Senior HR Business Development Manager:To attract and win profitable new B2B clients of our market-leading HR software, through development of a pipeline and ownership of the business development cycle from qualification through to sale. You will undertake research to identify new opportunities,and the appropriate contacts within these prospective customers, to engage with them about their problem statements and how AdviserPlus addresses these. This role also includes:
  • Leveraging contacts, networks and affiliates to reach decision-makers and source new opportunities for AdviserPlus.
  • Introducing the AdviserPlus proposition to leading consultancy and HR transformation specialists.
  • Building and maintaining a pipeline of client prospects through deal stages to closure.
  • Working with the broader sales and marketing team to build a quality pipeline of opportunities to own, manage through the sales cycle from qualification through to negotiation, and convert to sale.
  • Supporting the Commercial Director in developing the sales strategy for the business.
Skills and experience required to be a successful Senior HR Business Development Manager:Essential
  • Previous sales experience operating at a senior level.
  • A proven track record of effectively engaging and influencing senior HR and executive level contacts.
  • Exceptional commercial awareness evidenced through previous roles and successes.
  • HR domain expertise and understanding of HR Software as a Service solutions.
  • Goal-orientated individual whose focus is on hitting targets aligned with business budget and strategy.
  • Friendly, enthusiastic, confident and comfortable with talking to stakeholders of all levels.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written (e-mail, proposals and briefs) and verbal (phone, meetings and presentations).
  • Intelligent, quick thinking, highly organised, output-focused, proactive, motivated and driven.
  • Strong presentation and software demonstration skills in both formal and informal settings.
  • Team player who will work effectively and closely with commercial, product and other colleagues in AdviserPlus.
Desirable
  • Experience of operating in the Employee Relations vertical within HR.
  • Experience of using HubSpot as a CRM.
