Job Description

Pre-sales Consultant Global Media Salary/package: Up to £78,000 + 10% Bonus and comprehensive company benefits.Location: UK based hybrid working, with some travel (c10-20%) France, Germany, Nordics, Netherlands, Italy, Spain, Portugal and North Africa.Who we areArqiva is at the heart of the broadcast and utilities sector in the UK and beyond.   • Provide specialist technical input into bid proposals, projects and technical documents, and find opportunities to support existing customers
  • Collaborate with customers and sales teams to understand their requirements. Develop and recommend efficient solutions which meet or exceed expectations
  • Provide technical leadership within the team, sharing knowledge and skills and providing supervision. Provide guidance and mentoring as required to engineers, technicians, internal and external customers
  • Understand the market position of key customers and competitors and use market intelligence to provide input into key strategic projects.
  • Engage with product teams to develop and recommend products and services to meet customers requirements and develop business
Must Haves
  • B2B experience
  • Technical knowledge in some of following technologies and their application within the Broadcast and Video Media environments: Video compression systems, Digital TV standards, IP and fibre Networks, IP Security, Playout automation systems, Media Managementand Workflow, Cloud and Virtualised Computing (desired).
  • Technical Experience of working within the OTT sector required (Software orientated platforms, awareness of Content Delivery Networks (CDN), Online Video Platform, Media Asset Management, DRM, VoD, and Systems Integration)
  • Track record of preparing solution architecture designs.
  • Strong commercial foresight with an appreciation of the needs of a Commercial team.
  • Effective communicator who is able to ensure that complex information is articulated in a significant way.
  • Strong collaborator engagement and communication skills.
  • Customer focused, driving and supporting the business to be forward thinking. Ensuring that we anticipate customer needs and ask the right questions to ensure we deliver for customers.
