Job Description

Whatever your experience, would you like the chance to complete an apprenticeship whilst earning £21,480 after one year. If youre aged between 16 and 47, taking on a Logistics warehousing apprenticeship with the Royal Air Force (RAF) could be the perfect role for you!Experience Needed - None! The RAF will train you over two 10-week phases (pay - £16,235 during training). On completion of these you will complete a Level 2 Supply Chain Warehousing Operative Apprenticeship with a guaranteed job at the end. DuringCOVID19 Pandemic we have continued to pay full salaries and have not needed to furlough any of our employees.In the RAF, this job role is known as Supplier, you could end up;

  • Working on airfield fuel installations and refuelling aircraft.
  • Providing aircraft with logistical support all over the world.
  • Managing the accounting of high value RAF assets using computerised systems.
  • Managing the storage of secret, dangerous or flammable items.
  • Being competitive for promotion and earning up to £52,837 (top level pay).
If you take on this apprenticeship you will become part of an extraordinary team, be provided with a comprehensive and ongoing on the job training package and have the opportunity to obtain a number of driving licenses including specialist vehicles.   • Be a citizen of the United Kingdom or the Republic of Ireland, holder of a dual UK/other nationality or have been a Commonwealth citizen from birth. This is due to the rapid and effective deployability of RAF personnel to countries that apply travel restrictionsto non-UK personnel.
  • Be between 16 and 47 (Must start training before 48th birthday).
  • No formal qualifications required but subject to an Airman Selection Test.
  • Pass a Fitness test.
  • Commit minimum 3 years post Phase Two Training.
