Job Description

Come and join us at the start of building a NEW Salesforce practice and put your stamp on a very exciting piece of work! You will join the Defence and Police arena as an experienced Salesforce Developer, Certified Salesforce Administrator and Platform Developerthat will be working on enhancing Salesforce, using both declarative and coded solutions to build, enhance and refactor the Salesforce Organization.We can offer great career progression opportunities, ability to be based anywhere across the UK, benefits which you can flex to meet your needs and training and development opportunities.What youll be doing:

  • Produce software component designs and specifications
  • Produce and test software components
  • Produce unit, link and integration test plans and test results
  • Create test data and testing environments for unit, link and integration testing
  • Assist with integration testing, system testing, acceptance testing and implementation
  • Produce system documentation
  • Implement change control procedures
  • Implement appropriate software configuration management processes for deliverables
  • Identify and communicate potential risk areas to the company
  • Carry out audits and participate in technical walkthroughs of other team members components, test plans and results
What youll bring:
  • Salesforce Administration and Platform Developer Certification combined with sound experience in a similar role
  • Delivering Salesforce Best Practise (including coded and declarative solutions)
  • Strong knowledge on APEX, Aura, LWC, Visualforce
  • Knowledge in web services/integrations through REST
  • CI/CD and OOP (Object Orientated Programming)
  • Ability to write Unit Test Classes for all developed code
  • Fantastic communication skills, good at collaboration and a positive outlook
  • The Senior Software Engineer (Salesforce) will have sound knowledge of the latest developments and future strategy for their technology area, and an awareness of its application
  • Sound knowledge and experience of associated software engineering tools, techniques, methods within their specialist area
  • Demonstrable experience of working as a Senior Software Engineer on large or complex software engineering programmes/ projects
  • Project/ team leadership of a software development team
  • Understanding of impact of technology, environment and infrastructure on the business
  • Product Evaluation
  • Detailed system design
  • Define hardware/ software performance and specify requirements
  • Create/ Build Software Design software component
  • Manage / Conduct testing
  • Prepare implementation, conversion and cutover plans
  • Install systems
  • Create user and operational documentation
  • Support users during early live running
