Within every member of our team, we look for the capability to be agile and adaptable, accountable, and possess advanced communication and collaboration skills,social and emotional intelligence and transformative thinking and awareness.In addition to this, we are seeking individuals with comprehensive software product design experience and a portfolio to support and back this.The Role As the Lead Product Designer, you will be leading our product design efforts, working with our Product Management and Engineering teams to deliver outstanding results.Providing design guidance to your team, you will split your time equally between individual projects, team management and design strategy. You will have the chance to grow and shape your team as our company grows, leading by example and embodying our leadership competencies.Your role will also involve:- Supporting and improving design and cross-departmental collaboration processes- Contributing to defining the designs to support the product roadmap- Helping identify improvements to the product and then delivering innovative designs- Conducting user research independently and pre-empt some research using experience- Involving all team members to support a culture of research, design and testing- Delivering iterative design improvements to the product and tracking its performanceAbout YouTo be considered as a Lead Product Designer, you will need:- Experience in software product design, ideally of around seven years, preferably within SAAS and App Development - A portfolio that showcases your prior work and the ability to explain your design decisions- Experience with user research processes - An understanding of mobile-first and responsive design- Proficiency in Figma and design tools such as Adobe Creative SuiteWorking knowledge of HTML, CSS and/or JS and other web development technologies would be beneficial to your application.Other organisations may call this role Product Design Manager, Software Product Design Lead, Lead Software Product Designer, Senior Product Designer, Lead Product Designer, or Software Product Design Manager.Kortext is committed to providing an inclusive working environment where our employees can be themselves and everyone has an equal opportunity to reach their full potential.
