Job Description

Do you have a successful background in service delivery Maybe you are in a leadership role within a finance departmentThis exciting and business critical role could be just the thing for you!We are looking for a Financial Service Manager to be responsible for the management of transactional F&A services we provide to a portfolio of NHS clients. Every year on behalf of the NHS, among other things, we look after £225bn in cash, recover over £20bnof debt and almost £800m of VAT, and process over six and a half million accounts payable transactions. We provide services to around two thirds of all NHS organisations.You will work in a continuous improvement environment acting as an intermediary between colleagues and clients to help coordinate the service improvements and change requests for our clients. This integral role within the Service Management Team will besupported be a Service Coordinator that you will have line management responsibilities for.We can offer great career progression opportunities, ability to be based anywhere across the UK, benefits which you can flex to meet your needs and training and development opportunities.Predominantly based from home, this hybrid role comes with the expectation to travel to various offices once or twice per month.What you will be doing:

  • Work within the business delivering on change requests from client
  • Lead and facilitate F&A Client user forums
  • Lead all aspects of the active case management and reporting of complaints for F&A
  • Collate Net Promoter Score feedback and work with the relevant departments on service improvement
  • Developing a deep understanding how our services can suit client business needs
  • Producing reports and presenting to clients and colleagues on service performance
What you’ll bring:
  • Previous experience in service manager role or as recipient of a finance or accounting shared service provision
  • Ability to demonstrate the technical ability in the compilation, analysis and presentation of information to a strategic level
  • Experience of presenting to and influencing senior staff
  • Ability to work autonomously, balancing multiple priorities with outstanding organisational skills
  • Good inter-personal skills at a senior level
  • Previous line manager experience, preferably within a finance or IT team
