The OpportunityOur Product Managers are builders who love to create things and change the world through technology. They are skilled at the Why, the How and the What of making and iterating products to find market fit. They support each other and help each other grow.They are not purely organizers, sellers or explorers, though they are versed in all three dimensions. They are multi-facetted entrepreneurs who know how to generate insights, set direction, and get things done in tech & business. They apply lean approachesto break down big ideas into valuable pieces to deliver at fast pace and they Fail fast and fail often - until they dont.The role will guide the development of our data products to ensure we create maximum value for the business. The Product Manager will define the features and acceptance criteria, prioritise the associated backlog and help the Director of Property Data definegoals and success criteria data for the development of data products and services.Location is flexible but would suit someone living near one of our larger offices; Exeter/Reading/Kent.The role will involve:
  • Working closely with key stakeholders and with technical teams to crystallize emerging use cases and assess business value vs. feasibility
  • Collaboration with data architects and the data engineering team along with the technical business analyst to define the technical solution and do the technical QA of that solution as part of the delivery process
  • Own, maintain, update, and prioritize the data product roadmap, backlog and features
  • Develop outcome focussed measures of success and acceptance criteria for each major initiative or new data product
  • Communicate roadmap, vision, achievements, and progress to the wider team and to stakeholders
About YouAs the Product Manager you will have the ability to understand information that can drive the adjacencies both within and across industries, helping to create sticky relationships driven by a mutual understand of market performance and opportunity. Naturallyinquisitive, you will innovate across department operations or within product/service, identifying opportunities from external sources/research. You will be a decision maker who can work autonomously, offering support and guidance to less experienced staff.You will thrive on problem solving, be a subject matter expert with excellent communication skills. You will also have:
  • Degree educated or equivalent
  • Complete portfolio lifecycle experience, including being comfortable rationalising products
  • Ability to write and deliver business cases and supporting documentation
  • Market leading experience of Data Product Management and supporting technologies
  • Ability to manage a multi-product roadmap
  • Experience of product portfolio integration across multiple divisions
  • Experience working with external customers
  • Ability to manage other managers and team leaders effectively
  • Strong commercial awareness and influence
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Applied Scaled Agile experience would be an advantage
