Clinical Pharmacist | Pharmacy | Band 7 dependent on experience | Washington | Part time hours Spire Washington Hospital is expanding the scope of services we offer our patients and are looking for experienced or newly quailed Clinical Pharmacist to joinour established team on a part time basis. Spire Washington is a 35 in-patient bedded hospital with 10 consultation and 2 treatment rooms based just off junction 63 of the A1 with great commuter links. Our Hospital offers a range of services and facilitiesincluding four operating theatres covering specialities including Orthopaedics and Gynaecology and a full Diagnostic suite Duties and responsibilities: To provide an exemplary pharmacy service in accordance with current legislation, accepted professional andethical standards and clinical requirements. To provide advice and support to consultants, other clinicians and patients ensuring the safe, appropriate and cost effective use of medicines. To advise the hospital and its departments on the safe management ofmedicines, ensuring compliance with current legislation and professional standards. To promote a multidisciplinary, patient focused approach to the delivery of an efficient, high quality healthcare service. To be support in delivering the specialist pharmacyservice of oncology. Who were looking for: Masters degree in pharmacy, or equivalent at time of qualification. Current member of the General Pharmaceutical Council. Experience of applying clinical reasoning skills to a range of complex and varied patientrequirements. Worked in a pharmacy. Competence across a range of pharmaceutical subjects. Experience of effective stock and budgetary control.
