Job Description

Senior Commercial / Facilities Manager£50 - £60kPermanentSussexWe are seeking an experienced Facilities / Building Manager to collaborate with our client to manage and oversea the maintenance of buildings based in and around East and West Sussex.Ideally we would like someone from either a Healthcare / Public sector or similar background that is used to working with budgets, managing staff, managing contractors, seeking quotes and signing off works, excellent communication internal and external,is adapt at the tendering process, has project management experience and has demonstrable experience working on several projects with many budgets and can comprehensively submit reports on those to board level directors. Experience in Capex expenditure andprocess improvements.

  • Five years experience in a similar job role with staff management responsibilities
  • Tendering and managing Capital expenditure projects
  • Facilities / Planned preventative maintenance experience
  • Contract negotiation
  • Working with third party building suppliers
  • Reviewing Service Level Agreements and amending to requirements
  • Communicating with relevant stake holders for upcoming scheduled work
  • Budget management
  • Report writing on both compliance and planned works / work in progress updates
  • Managing team of staff and responsibility for their output, training, and development
  • Managing sub-contractors and ensuring full compliance whilst working on site
  • Managing mutli sites - being able to visit them all and be in control of works across all sites
