Job Description

A top 150 law firm is currently in search of a Junior solicitor and an Associate to join their esteemed Residential Property & Conveyancing team in Kent. As part of a dynamic, friendly, and inclusive team within a forward-thinking firm with ambitious growth plans, you will actively contribute to our expansion. You will be engaged in intriguing, technical tasks and business development from the start, supportedby approachable and experienced colleagues dedicated to assisting in your career development.Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of residential property matters, including sales, purchases, transfers of equity, and remortgages.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and provide accurate, timely, and practical advice to clients.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, leases, and agreements.
  • Liaise with clients, estate agents, and other professionals involved in property transactions to ensure smooth and timely completion.
  • Stay up to date with changes in property law and regulations and apply this knowledge to client cases.
  • Attend meetings, hearings, and negotiations on behalf of clients when necessary.
The Ideal Candidate:
  • Qualified Solicitor with 1-5 years PQE
  • Successful candidates will possess experience in the residential conveyancing process, coupled with excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Business development expertise and a track record of effectively managing client relationships.
