Job Description

Summary Were looking forProject Coordinators who can work as a key player in our let estate teams supporting the work on our let estate. Youll provide a reliable technical support service to a team, ensuring you are the go-to person for helping our teams to navigateour administrative systems and processes.Our 16 let estate teams are made up of estate management and buildings professionals who manage our diverse let estate portfolio throughout Northern Ireland, Wales and England. They are involved in the full tenancy lifecycle for a range of land and propertyincluding residential, commercial and agricultural as well as ensuring ongoing maintenance and investment in them.This is a fixed term contract opportunity until 31st March 2024.Please note, internally these roles are known as Rural Asset Management Officers What its like to work here In this role youll be working across a variety of beautiful estates across Sussex and Kent, from Chartwell and Ightham Mote, to the White Cliffs, from Scotney and Bodiam Castles on the High Weald to Batemans and Sissinghurst, from Birling Gap on the SouthDowns to Nymans and Winchelsea, with our Let Estate team based at Scotney Castle, Kent.We are open to hybrid working; with working from home or on estates at our property offices and time each week at our Scotney Castle Kent hub office, to meet with the Let Estate team and the Trusts mixed discipline consultants. Youll be pivotal part ofthe team with time at your desk and out on estates.The management of our tenancies, assets and our relationships with our tenants is essential to the delivery of our conservation work, to this end we have recently restructured to make improvements and increase delivery efficiencies in our estate management.If you join our team, youll be building and leading on these foundations, contributing to and supporting interesting estate management work and unique projects, that will shape the future of the UKs largest private landowner and the properties it ownsand protects for everyone for ever. What youll be doing Youll provide key support for the let estate team covering Surrey and Sussex. Youll work with estates and building professionals who look after our vast and varied property portfolio to deliver our core and project work.Youll support the implementationof new and existing administrative systems, processes and information management and produce communications material to share successes and champion the work from within your team for a wide range of audiences.Youll be involved in supporting the delivery of our projects including helping ensure all the relevant paperwork is in place and coordinating internal teams and external contractors. Youll also deliver a project that ensures our let estate paper and digitalrecords are managed in the most efficient way in your area. Who were looking for Wed love to hear from you if you have:

  • Strong client service skillsyoull be liaising with our internal teams across departments, tenants, partners and external stakeholders
  • The ability to maintain data, systems and processes to support the effective management of the let estate
  • An understanding and awareness of the importance of governance processes
  • The ability to gather, analyse, interpret and present Management Information to support decision making
  • Confidence in usingIT packages, and are happy to learn and explore new technology and systems and share knowledge with others
  • The ability to work as part of a team to achieve the best results, demonstrating best practice and sharing ideas and thinking
  • Experience of small scale project delivery and working with contractors
