Paraplanner - Tunbridge Wells - up to £40,000 doe plus benefitsAlexander Lloyd are currently assisting one of the UKs largest Financial Services companies to recruit for an experienced Paraplanner to join their established team.The successful candidate will assist advisers in all aspects of providing advice to clients.Product Research - The technical and practical evaluation of products within the range specified, sharing product information with advisers and paraplanners.Financial Planning - assist the development and implementation of a strategy that will enable a client to meet financial objectives.Presentation of Advice - prepare letters, reports and other documents as part of the advice process including reviews.Meeting Preparation - help advisers prepare for client meetings including the preparation of all relevant paperwork.Client Reviews - update client records, analyse progress and present information in accordance with our Annual Review Procedures.Minimum of 3 years experience as a technical paraplanner within the financial services industry.Knowledge and experience of personal financial planning, pre and post retirement planning investment funds and asset allocation. Tax treatment of different fund types and product wrappers, investment, pension and annuity products.Financial planning legislationTax legislationFCA compliance requirementsLevel 4 DipPFS preferable or working towards.A good standard of English and MathematicsCommunication skills - both verbal and writtenExperience of both bespoke and templated report writingAbility to obtain, assess and act on informationHighly organised with excellent attention to detailGood working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word & ExcelPrevious experience of Defaqto, Select a Pension, FE Analytics and CashCalc an advantage.Please quote <> when calling Marion at Alexander Lloyd or email them at .
