Job Description

KITCHEN SHOWROOM CONSULTANTKITCHEN REFURBISHMENTTUNBRIDGE WELLSPART TIME£10 - £11 PER HOUR - NEGOTIABLEKitchen Showroom Consultant required for our client who are the UKs leading and award-winning Kitchen makeover company. Our client specialises in renovating existing kitchens instead of replacing, typically saving customers 50% of the cost of replacement.Due to their continued growth and success, they are now recruiting for a Kitchen Showroom Consultant to work from their Tunbridge Wells branch.THE ROLE

  • As Kitchen Showroom Consultant you will be the first point of contact for customers coming to the showroom
  • You will be showing customers the products and service on offer e.g., Kitchen doors, worktops, handles etc.
  • Arranging and booking appointments for a member of the team to carry out a home visit to take measurements etc.
  • Taking phone calls from potential and existing customers
  • Ensuring the showroom is clean and tidy at all times
  • You will also be carrying out general admin duties e.g., stock ordering, checking and other admin work as required
  • This is a Part Time role, 22 hours per week: Thursday 9-5, Friday 9-5 and every other Saturday 10-4
  • You may be asked to cover our other part time Consultant and vice versa during sickness or holiday periods.
  • Store opening times are 9.00 to 5.00pm Monday to Friday and 10.00 to 4.00pm on Saturday, so your hours will be within those times
  • You will be working Saturdays on a rota basis.
  • You will be working from the Tunbridge Wells (Town Centre) branch
THE PERSON
  • The successful Kitchen Showroom Consultant will ideally have similar experience within kitchens, however this is not essential
  • Experience of working within a Showroom is desired, e.g., Kitchens, Bathrooms, Builders Merchant, DIY store etc.
  • Alternatively face to face experience within a retail environment
  • You must be IT proficient, able to use email, Word, Excel and the Microsoft suite
  • Have excellent administration skills and ability
  • You MUST have excellent customer service skills with great customer facing skills
  • Must be organised
  • You will need to be flexible and able to work within the showroom opening hours including weekends
  • This is a customer facing role, so you must be well presented
  • Live within a commutable distance to the Tunbridge Wells (town centre) showroom
THE PACKAGE
  • £10 - £11 Per hour (Subject to experience)
