CT Lead Radiographer - Tunbridge Wells Hospital - Up to £42,000 per annum dependent on experienceNuffield Health is Britains largest not-for-profit healthcare organisation.   • Deliver a high-quality diagnostic imaging service for a very varied caseload - within the department, on the ward and in theatre.
  • Work with leading practitioners and experiencing new practices, equipment and facilities.
  • As a clinical lead, you will enjoy developing policies and procedures.
  • Supervise, train and develop other staff members.
  • Provide a service of the highest quality, delivered with sensitivity and compassion.
  • Work in other modalities in the department. Training will be provided.
  • Be competent across a range of imaging skills supported by professional and specialist knowledge
  • Work in partnership with consultants and participating in creating innovative solutions for new services
  • Support the Commercial development of the specialism locally
  • Work in partnership supporting the Deputy Radiology Manager and Departmental Manager
  • Actively participate in CPD
The PersonTo succeed as a CT Lead Radiographer you will have;
  • Proven experience working within an Imaging department
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and as part of a multidisciplinary team and individually
  • High levels of technical knowledge and the ability to work quickly and accurately, with a great eye for detail.
  • A caring nature - to see each patient as an individual and carry out this role with understanding and empathy.
  • A BSC degree in diagnostic radiography or equivalent to meet the registration requirements of the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
  • A postgraduate qualification in an area of specialization.
  • Radiation Protection Supervisor training and/ or qualification are desirable.
  • IT literacy with working knowledge of relevant systems such CRIS and PACS
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Flexible approach to work and working patterns
