You will provide support to the chef on duty making soups, salads, sandwiches, light meals and main meals as well as ourfamous scones and cakes, all from scratch. There may be days where you will manage the kitchen on your own, maintaining the high standards we and you strive for, never compromising on quality even when under pressure.You will have had previous experience in the hospitality sector and eager to join our team ready for the busy year ahead. You will enjoy cooking and baking with an eye for detail and excited to work with fresh ingredients and work from our National Trustcookbook to create exciting and delicious recipes from scratch. Lots of the ingredients we use are produced on National Trust properties and farms and we are proud to hold a bronze Food for Life award.You wont be required to work nights, split shifts and will be off on Christmas Day as the property is fully closed to the public.Youll receive a bespoke induction on appointment - and further professional training & development opportunities are available.Interviews: This is an immediate start; interviews will be held by appointment on receiving applications.
