Project Manager, Electrical£61,000-£64,000 + significant benefits + car allowanceCambridgeshireJob Reference: J107661Working for a leading utility contracting company, you will project manage the development and subsequent build of the new 11kV and 33kV compounds in the Cambridgeshire and wider area.Your responsibilities will be - Producing all of the documentation for the works to the right standard.- Overseeing the tendering for the subcontract packages- Setting the scope for the works correctly- Building the programme and ensure it is updated to client requirements, noting any risk, slippage or acceleration- Liaison with the switchgear manufacturer who are designing the switch house building- Manage the communications and interfaces with the Client, Design, Tendering, Engineering, Construction and Site teams- Monitoring subcontractor performance, quality and commercialsYou will have- Electrical bias, ideally Degree or Higher level qualified in Electrical or a related discipline- Successful project management experience on construction projects of £5 million+- Appreciation of high voltage substation construction protocols- Good commercial acumen- Excellent communication and delegation skillsSignificant benefits package including 33 days annual leave, annual bonus, generous pension scheme, life assurance, private health care and company car (or allowance)To apply, please contact Gareth Bone or apply online
