Ocean Freight Forwarders! First Choice Staff is working exclusively with a longstanding Freight Forwarder with a carved Export reputation for first class services to their niche Customers. Ready to cover a variety of destinations and projects They are sailingand can do by having an experienced, professional and fresh member on board!The roles entail;Creation and processing of ocean shipments both LCL/FCL and to demonstrate and understanding of formalities pertaining to AEO (and familiarity with related NES/CHIEF functions)Planning of container loads and preparation pre-shipment documentation together with creation and distribution of export documentation at the post-shipment and pre-advice level Preparing certificates of origin; dealing with letters of Credit Arranging collections and deliveries Liaising with shipping lines for competitive ratesTransmitting AMS & ACI; preparing and submitting NES declarationsInvoicing of files in a timely and accurate mannerDay to day quotations for both domestic customers and overseas agentsDealing with queries and problem solving Freight Administration of internal database of client contacts and surcharge tariffsRequirements/Skills for the role:Minimum 5+ years experience in LCL/FCL -Sea freight Export ForwardingPreferred areas of expertise are USA and Canada but other markets also useful and will be considered. Attention to detail and an aptitude for a fast paced; multi-tasking; customer service minded environment. Flexible and adaptable. Ability to work as part ofa team and using own initiative in a busy environment.
