Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Parts Manager to join the parts department at our busy Renault-Nissan Liverpool dealership (L8). The role involves managing the smooth running of the parts department always promoting the highest levels of customer satisfaction and ensuring all company standards are met. It is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate with extensive parts management experience to join a manufacturer-owned group.Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and agreeing annual sales, operating plans and budgets to achieve agreed financial, market, productivity and resource control targets
  • Preparing and keeping under tight control department reports including stock control (negative, non-stock, parts status), parts procurement and special order parts
  • Ensuring that discounts given are in accordance with dealership policy
  • Managing, coaching and mentoring members of the parts team to ensure they achieve their objectives whilst delivering results to meet and exceed budgets
  • Ensuring delivery of excellent customer service within all areas of responsibility and ensuring the resolution of all complaints in the best interest of the customer and Company
  • Maintaining parts stockholding at agreed levels to ensure first time availability of parts to all customers including dealership depts
  • Ensuring high levels of counter image and excellent housekeeping within the Parts dept
    • For this high-profile role the successful candidate will be/have:
  • Currently employed as a Parts Manager at a main dealer
  • A proven track record of managing a high performing parts department
  • Extensive knowledge of automotive parts
  • Motivated and proactive with the drive to exceed targets
  • Experience of the Renault, Dacia and Nissan brands (desirable)
  • Computer literate and comfortable with web-based computer applications
  • A full UK Driving Licence
