We are delighted to be working with an fantastic growing premium brand in the outdoors industry based in Totnes.THE ROLE OF SOCIAL MEDIA EXECUTIVE:- Day to day responsibility for the management of the global social media presence and community including Facebook, Instagram, Youtube and Linkedin- Manage and oversee posting to social channels maintaining a consistent voice across channels aligned with the brand’s target audience and sparking conversation- Coordinate with regional teams to establish a strong local content calendar- Plan and produce content that supports the overall brand strategy under the guidance of the in-house Designer- Write engaging articles alongside the Communications Manager, so excellent copy writing, and story-telling skills are a must- Engage with the global community, establish and nurture authentic relationships through social media. Empower the community as brand ambassadors and identify relevant influencers- Monitor conversations across social media and address important mentions- Discover trending topics, community needs, and interests of target audience across social media, adjusting content and messaging accordingly- Plan and execute global and local paid social campaigns alongside Digital Marketing Agency- Optimize campaigns against our KPIs to maximize ROI within budget.- Collect and analysis data and generate reports into actionable insights and recommendations for possible course correction and improvements.- Based on research and insights; evolve and define programs that use social media marketing techniques to increase brand visibility, traffic and revenue.THE IDEAL CANDIDATE FOR THE SOCIAL MEDIA EXECUTIVE ROLE:- To be successful in this role, you must have extensive experience of social media management in a similar role or for a similar premium brand - either in house or agency based. - We need someone who can come into the brand, hit the ground running and bring their expertise to take all activities to the next level. - Experience in content creationStrong editorial skills including copy and editing, a great storyteller.- Able to produce engaging copy in line with brand guidelines- The ability to aggregate data and generate actionable insights to inspire and suggest actions- Proficient with the Adobe Creative Cloud suite of applications and experience of using Microsoft Office- Highly organised with exceptional time management and project management skills- Commercially focused- Experience from sports or outdoor’ brand marketing or an interest for watersports and the outdoors is a plus Required skills
