  • Individualised Support:Provide tailored support to students with diverse needs, ensuring they receive the required attention and assistance.
  • Inclusive Learning:Foster a welcoming and inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued and accepted.
  • Progress Tracking:Collaborate with teachers to monitor student progress and adapt interventions as needed.
  • Empowerment:Encourage independence and self-confidence in students, helping them build essential life skills.
  • Team Collaboration:Work closely with colleagues and specialists to create a supportive network for students with SEN.
SEN Teaching Assistant Requirements:
  • Candidates with care and support work experience are suitable.
  • A genuine passion for education and a commitment to helping students succeed.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Empathy and patience to work effectively with students facing various challenges.
  • A proactive and flexible approach, with the ability to adapt to changing situations.
  • School experience would be good but not needed.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the update service, or be willing to apply for one with GSL.
