Job Description

We are recruiting for A Radiology Service Manager to manage a new Clinical Diagnostics Centre. (CDC)Full-time: 37.5 hours over 5 days a week. Monday to Friday plus On Call Management Rota cover as required.Salary: competitive and negotiable with generous benefits.Role Summary: You will be responsible for overseeing the day to day running of the CDC , ensuring its smooth operation and compliance with local guidelines and company policies to deliver a service that is aligned to contractual and governancerequirements. You will be responsible for supporting and managing, recruiting and training staff. The role will require you to become a registered manager with the CQC.Your Responsibilities:

  • Service delivery providing the highest standard of patient care and meeting expectations.
  • Management of the building, the environment, safety and ensuring exceptional IPC standards.
  • Hold the position of CQC registered manager.
  • Manage Budgets.
  • Manage staffing and ensure safe levels and skill mix are maintained at all times.
  • Overseeing all day to day activity across a 7 day service.
  • Recruitment, induction, training and supporting staff.
  • Provide up to date reports and KPIs to stakeholders.
  • Deliver, up date and compile appropriate and clinically accurate protocols.
Qualifications, skills and attributes:
  • Essential: A BSc in Diagnostic Radiography
  • Essential: A valid professional membership (HCPC registration)
  • Essential: Team Leadership and management
  • Desirable: HR skills/recruitment/coaching and training
  • Desirable: Previous CQC Manager Registration or understanding of the responsibility and process to achieve this.
  • Essential: Excellent communicator and motivator.
  • Desirable: Post grad leadership/management qualification.
