Job Description

Personal Tax Accounts SeniorLocation: Exeter, Newton Abbot, Torquay, Paignton, Axminster, Launceston, Bovey Tracey, Honiton, Chard, Seaton, Sidmouth and Exmouth.Salary: £50K+ basic DOEFull Time - Monday to FridayA fantastic opportunity has arisen, due to our success, and continued growth, we are now looking for Personal Tax Senior to join our fun, friendly working environment to continue and further their career.We are a well-established and highly regarded regional law firm, we provide a full range of legal and tax compliance services to businesses and individuals.We are seeking an individual with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in dealing Personal Income Tax Returns and general tax advice. IHT experience is not essential but would assist.

  • IHT experience is not essential but would assist, (ATT, CTA or TEP qualified but not necessary)
  • Have an excellent balance between technical ability and commercial awareness.
  • possess strong organisational and inter-personal skills.
  • IT proficient.
Essential to be able to demonstrate an understanding of the following areas of Taxation work:
  • Fundamental principles of capital gains and income tax and their application in relation to Personal Tax returns and UK Property Accounts.
  • Estate Complex Registration and preparation and submission of Estate Tax Returns.
Key Requirements:
  • Be able to work as an individual and as part of a team
  • Willingness to develop and expand skills and knowledge, undertaking further training as required
  • Excellent IT Skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • Willingness to travel between offices when required
