37.5hrs post band 6 – Community Occupational TherapistAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced full time Band 6 Occupational Therapist with diverse clinical skills to join our Torquay community social care team. Based at Union House, we provide a patient-focused multi-disciplinary approach to support maximizing independence and management of long term conditions, enabling those to meet their individual goals.This role will be split between our community team and management of Blue Badge assessments for Torbay with Band 5 and Band 7 support.The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator, competent in a wide range of clinical areas such as moving and handling, palliative care, and home adaptations. They will demonstrate flexible problem-solving skills whilst working autonomously or with colleagues from the multi-disciplinary team.Our Trust aims to provide high quality, safe health and social care in the right place, at the right time to support the people of Torbay and South Devon to live their lives to the full.
