With your expansive skills and knowledge, you will be the go-to expert, ensuring that your colleagues are operating the latest in cutting-edge IT solutions.Whats more, our exceptional benefits package includes help to purchase one of our idyllic homes amongst other competitive perks meaning youll be supported in all aspects of life.The RoleAs the Head of IT, you will define and deliver our IT strategy, oversee an IT team and ensure effective support is provided across our company.Delivering the full scope of IT support to our users, you will manage the existing team which includes a Systems Analyst, an IT Apprentice and an outsourced service through a 3rd party.In addition to ensuring that the Company is utilising our current ERP system to its maximum effect, you will manage and control our IT infrastructure, developing and implementing the future IT strategy for the Company.Additionally, you will:- Keep abreast of developments in IT to ensure best use of the latest technologies- Maintain networks and servers, installing and configuring new hardware and software- Manage and deliver our Digital Transformation Projects- Supporting our site-based teamsAbout YouTo be considered as the Head of IT, you will need:- A minimum of two years work experience in a relevant role- Experience of creating and delivering an IT strategy- Experience with relational databases including SQL- Experience of managing IT infrastructure and core services- Experience of managing Microsoft 365- Experience of managing integrated ERP systems- Asset and configuration management, and lifecycle and classification skills- Demonstrable project management skills- The ability to lead and mentor small teams- The ability to control budgeting and forecasting- A full, valid driving licence- A relevant higher-level qualification such as a degree, diploma, apprenticeship or industry certificationExperience with COINS and Progress database, and methodologies such as Agile or PRINCE2 would be advantageous.
