Estimator - Roofing Contract ServicesJob Title: Estimator - Roofing Contract ServicesIndustry Sector: Estimator, Estimates, Estimating, Singles, Shake, Lead, Sheet Roofing & Cladding, Cladding, Slates, Tiling, Flat Roofing, Roofing, Green Roofs, Eco Roofs, Solar, Roof Access, New Build, Building Envelope, Building ProductsLocation: Newton Abbey or surrounding areasRemuneration: £30,000 - £50,000 Benefits: Company Car & Comprehensive Benefits PackageThe role of the Estimator - Roofing Contract Services will involve:

  • Estimating role dealing with a high quality range of various roofing contract services; slate, tiling, , flat roofing, eco roofs, shingles, lead, solar, shakes, sheet roofing & cladding, single ply, standing seam
  • Interpreting technical drawings and generating quotations
  • Producing formal quotations to customers
  • Following up on quotations to convert the tender
  • Assisting the Contracts Manager with allocating budgets and ensuring that these are met
  • Keep good documentation of tenders and quotations on internal database
  • Contact customers dealing with queries and providing additional technical information
  • Establish and maintain relationships with contractors and vendors and assessing the risk level associated with a project
  • The role is predominantly office based, however will occasionally will have to go to site meetings
The ideal applicant will be Estimator - Roofing Contract Services with:
  • Must have proven estimating experience roofing and cladding market sector
  • Must have a good understanding of technical drawings and CAD
  • Confident individual who can provide excellent customer service
  • Must have full UK driving license
  • High levels of organisation and attention to detail
  • Computer literate (Microsoft Office etc)
  • Good literacy and numeracy skills
