Community Healthcare Assistant An opportunity has arisen for a band 3 Health care assistant to work in the community within the beautiful Moor to Sea Zone in South Devon. This covers a considerable area which is largely rural. The main towns are Ashburton, Buckfastleigh, Dartmouth and Totnes. The post is initially for 25 hours a week but there is scope for this to increase in the future.We are a small team working out of three bases. We offer rotation between the three nursing bases and potentially within our intermediate care team to offer a broad range of experiences.Due to the large area covered we embrace innovation and technology to help us achieve the goals of our patients. The successful applicant will need to be a competent and confident individual. Venepuncture is a necessary skill and We will offer comprehensive induction and training to prepare all new staff to be prepared for any eventuality.Communication is key and we work closely with our larger multi -disciplinary colleagues which include the following:
