The firm offers a clear appraisal and career development path, mix of hybrid working, flexible hours, with highly competitive remuneration and benefitpackages.DescriptionJoining as Business Services Semi-Senior Accountant based in the firms Torquay offices you will be taking on the preparation of year end financial statements and management accounts for wide ranging and varied limited companies, OMBs and SMEs into the £millionsin turnover. You will also have involvement in tax, VAT computations and returns, providing bookkeeping and management accounting services, filing Companies House and HM Revenue & Customs documents on your clients behalf and ensure that accounting recordsfor clients are maintained and kept up to date. You will also advise clients on MTD and online accounting advice. Your responsibilities and involvements with clients, wider accounting and tax project work will increase over time as you develop within the teamand role and you will be encouraged to progress and develop within your career, with the support of highly experienced, qualified professional around you, combined with study support on offer for those looking to pursue further qualifications.ProfileYou will be any of AAT qualified, or studying for AAT, ACCA or other qualifications. Alternatively you may have developed your career entirely through experience to date. Most importantly you will have a career background developed within the accountancypractice sector, working within a firm of accountants of any size with at least one to three years experience or more, within the sector preparing accounts, tax, VAT, bookkeeping for limited companies, sole traders and other clients around the Business ServicesSemi-Senior Accountant levels.
