Vacancy Reference:40204Vacancy Name:Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer Location:This is a field based, mobile position covering TorquaySalary:Salary up to £38,750 - dependant on qualifications and experienceBenefits:Pension, Life Assurance, Use of company vehicle for personal use, Employee Shares Schemes, Reward programme & Employee Assistance programme along with many other benefits & employee discounts.We are looking for an experienced Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer to undertake the maintenance and repair of air conditioning equipment. This includes service, maintenance, and repair of split AC systems, VRV/VRF systems and heat pumps. You may also be requiredto work on specific refrigeration equipment such as chilled cabinets / multideck or ice machines. You will have the opportunity to work across a variety of manufacturer plants, for example, Daikin, Mitsubishi, Media, Toshiba, and LG. Understanding installation designs and bespoke manufacturer trouble shooting procedures, whilst also being comfortable withseeking manufacturer technical support autonomously is desirable. You will be expected to complete all work-related documentation accurately and on time, keeping logs of inspections reports and remedial work. Candidates will have a full current driving licence and be willing to participate in an On-Call rota. Youll be capable of performing manual tasks, including manual handling, working at heights and in confined spaces. Good verbal and written communication areimportant, including the ability to use a handheld computer device (PDA). Youll need to be highly self-motivated, and solutions focussed with the ability to work without supervision but also enjoy working as part of a team. The ideal candidate will have experience within a Maintenance / Facilities Management environment. You must have relevant qualifications e.g., FGAS & ODS regs, time served apprenticeship, C&G Level 3 / NVQ or equivalent. Also, knowledge of Health & Safety,Permit to Work procedures and safe systems of working. You will be provided opportunities for training, development, progression, and internal promotions.
